Roberts Creative has been working with Thermo-Kool for 5 years. Established in Laurel, Mississippi in 1960, Thermo-Kool strives for maximum customization, durability, and performance for every product from walk-in coolers and freezers to blast chillers and shock freezers. Thermo-Kool has received “Best In Class Overall” and “Best in Class by Dealers” by Foodservice Equipment & Supplies magazine for the last three consecutive years and “Best in Class” in every category in 2014.


In 2012, Thermo-Kool began to expand their product line to include a wide-array of Blast Chillers and Shock Freezers fully dedicated to new standards of food quality and equipment efficiency, economy, and ease-of-operation. Thermo-Kool recognized a need to educate their audience on the necessity of incorporating blast chilling and shock freezing into the preparation process.

The ‘Frost Bites’ campaign provided an educational yet funny and entertaining way to portray the difference between conventional refrigeration and blast chilling/shock freezing. Roberts Creative produced three 90-150 second videos illustrating the benefits, key facts, and history behind blast chilling and shock freezing. Tori McKool, a fictional child prodigy and ‘Thermo-Kool’s Professor of Chilling’ became the face of the Frost Bites campaign. To reach target audiences, Roberts Creative utilized Google Ad-Words, online banner advertising, trade publication print, social media strategy, and trade show collateral and banners.


We needed a unique and fun splash page for the Frost Bites campaign updates. We created a Tori McKool themed educational page that updated when new videos were released.
